This book is very pessimistic and analytical, and for people like that it is completely perfect. This book is psychologically very interesting because you are limited to the viewpoint of the protagonist and thus unable to see if his conjectures are actual or a figment of his unconscious, so it takes a lot of effort to understand and seperate what is in his mind than the real world.
I also never had another book that I was so attune with, the main character and I had the same thoughts absolutely all of the time. It is at times frightening when you can see your mind in these pages...
It is recommended that you read the Odyssey before this book.
